My name is Phil, I’m 30 years old and was born and raised in Germany. I went to school there for manufacturing and electrical engineering. Not being satisfied by the career options that this would provide me with, I decided to get into trades and get myself a vocational masters degree in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Armed with those skills and the desire to experience life I went off to North America to become more proficient in the English language and travel. I spent the majority of my 20s traveling the North American continent. During that time I got to live life to the absolute fullest. From living out of a minivan with a canoe strapped to the roof, taking 57hr greyhound rides, hitchhiking 30.000km all throughout Canada to crossing the United States on a nothing more than a scooter. I’ve worked many different jobs in the most incredible places, always making sure I have time and money to do the things I was passionate about. At 24 I became a pilot, by 26 I built and flew my own aircraft and by 28 I started working on private jets. I am a very passionate Hang Glider Pilot and instructor, snowboarder, skier, hiker and climber.
Now at 30 years of age I have finally settled down in a city I love and plan on being in for a long time.
